Dear diary,
The day started of well, me and my class were going on a trip to SanFransisco. The plane journey was pretty much like any other plane journey, boring and uneventful. But, after about 2 hours in the air, disaster struck. The plane was going through an electrical storm over the Atlantic ocean when suddenly the plane was struck down by lightening! The plane then plummeted straight into the raging sea. The whole class then had to evacuate as quickly as possible through emergency exits and broken windows. Everyone was panicking as the whole class was thrown into the water and trying to keep up above the waves. Then a huge tidal wave parted me from the rest of my class and I was forced to try and survive in the waters on my own. I then remembered we had just flown over a deserted island and I could almost see it on the horizon so I tried to make my way towards it. After, what seemed, ages of agonizing swimming I made it to the island.
After the storm had passed I decided to camp out under some trees for the first night. Tomorrow I will go exploring the island, provided I'm still alive then. From Joe.

I was laughing with Amabel as we were watching an episode of the Simpsons, when the lightening flashed and the plane crashed into a rock. The students kicked the exit door and jumped out into the sea. It was cold and the waves were very big. There were lots of my friends
swimming in the sea.
20 July 2012.
Early today i heard a loud bang which felt like it hit us and the class screamed, when the loud bang hit the plane, the thunder and lighting was really heavy big and noisy. We were about to sink towards the sea I fell into the sea, the waves took me far away from the plane. I woke up and i saw a island that i never been before i said "hello anyone there?" but no one said hello back. I look around but there was no one that i could see that had survived the crash. Suddenly it began to rain really hard and heavy but there was no shelter, but i saw a tree with a big hole i run into the tree fell asleep and got ready for tomorrow to explore the island and hopefully find some food.

Dear diary, today is Friday day 1 week 1 and the date is 18 may, time not a clue. Well, this is now. It started, us 7mw won a mystery cruise, to well, that's what we didn't know. We got on the boat but I think I'm the only one that got off. Brrr. It's cold. Anyways the boat crashed into an iceberg. The unsinkable sank and I swam to shore. I didn't know if anyone other than I got off. I see Mr Brignall get ripped to smitherines and to advantage by taking his book. This silly prize. We could have just won chocolate. Why the boat? All my friends gone. Dead. Bye bye birdy. I just wanna go home. why here? why us? why life itself? I am the only one that made it. The lights went out only lightning was in sight. People screaming. Chinchilla crying. It was like world war 4. The anger. Scared pilots got eaten. i jst prayed and thought about heaven and death is not that bad. I remember the boat was hit by lightning. I got through a gap at the bottom of the boat and the teacher distracted the sharks as I went overboard. Nobody could do anything as the boat sank. I now feel cold. Dark, painful, wet, hungry, tired, but in a strange way peaceful. Like when you die in your sleep. Alone, empty, nothing left to live for. You know really dead and empty cold, alone and sad. All life itself is gone! I'm insane. God help! Please! I found shelter and a place to sleep. Although I will get nightmares. So I can wait and look for others, dead or alive from Mw. As I went to sleep i could see and hear all of the flashbacks of what happened... when I woke...
Now that I am back at last I can tell the extraordinary story, the true story.
It all began when our teacher Mr. Curtis-Brignall announced that our class (7MW) had just won the nationwide essay competition.
I got my parents permission and after a few days, it was time for us to go.
Everyone was so excited including me. The ship was excellent, it was high-tech and cosy I loved it. Now was time to set off...
It was all going well for the first few hours but after that everything went wrong.
A thunder storm started and the driver lost control of the boat, up in the distance I could see a huge rock that we where about to crash into, I had to act fast and I thought because I was such a good swimmer I thought, I should jump off the boat and swim to safety and down to luck I saw an island in the distance which i managed to enter.
I had no idea if it any other inhabitants where on this island and to be honest I did not care I am just lucky I made it out alive.
Who knows what will happen to me tomorrow but until then goodnight.

Dear Diary,
I don’t know where I am. I don’t what time it is. All I know is how I got here. It seems weird writing this but it’s the only the thing that can comfort me right now. I guess it all started when our class got the chance to go to Miami on a school trip. Only half the class were going. The ones that didn’t go soon realised that they were extremely lucky. So we took a coach to the airport. The coach was fine except for the fact that the last people on it obviously hadn’t felt too great. The thick smell of sick lingered through the air. Many were almost sick themselves but managed to hold it in until they reached the toilet.
When we finally got to the airport everyone was tired. At least it was sunny I had thought to myself. We walked to the check in point and everything was fine, although it was as boring as hell! After about 2 hours he finally got on the plane. Our seats weren’t exactly first class but it was all any of us needed. My ears had popped which gave the signal that the plane was in air. I had a look outside and saw a little droplet of rain streak down my window. Nothing to worry about I had thought to myself. I tried getting to sleep at the earliest possibility and easily dosed.
The pilots announcing their “we will be experiencing some air turbulence” speech in their annoyingly casual voices strangely awaked me. I looked out the window. It was pouring down with rain. Nobody seemed too scared actually. Until the plane was struck by lightning! The first strike came with a loud thud. The second was even louder. Lights were suddenly flashing lights all over the place and the oxygen masks dropped. I could almost smell the fear. People were screaming and running around frantically. It was then that the pilots told us we had actually just entered the Bermuda triangle! Mr. Curtis-Brignall had tried to open a door to jump out but as he was falling the only working engine sucked him in and spat him out the other end in millions of tiny red cubes. Ms McCauley on the other hand, had been found electrocuted in the roof of the toilet. She had obviously been jolted up into one of the wires during the turbulence. The puffy yellow slides were let down and everybody put on their life jackets and slid of. As I reached the water I could see some of my classmates slowly drifting away from me. I had known then that I would never see them again.
I had been slowly drifting for ages. The water was freezing although it had been made slightly warmer by my occasional pee. My muscles were stretched and I was exhausted. After, what felt like 4 hours, I was finally washed up on these here shores. I had no idea if it any other inhabitants and to be honest I didn’t care. Luckily for me there was an emergency, waterproof phone in my life jacket, but ironically it had no signal. At least I could still write this diary on it. So here I am, to tired too build a shelter. Awake enough to write this. I guess I will just have to fall asleep under a tree nearby. Whether I will be alive tomorrow I do not know.Goodnight.
